To be honest, I wasn't really interested in coming to Rhodes Island at first. After all, Monica was the one you hired, and I'm just her bodyguard. But then she didn't need one anymore and finding a new job gets my tentacles all tied in a knot, so I decided to tag along and take my chances here.

Monica and I lived together back in Iberia. Taking care of someone as unorganized and impulsive as her was a pesky chore… But she was the best option I had. I don't get along with my family and she was the one who took me in.

The Inquisition used to give me loads of trouble for my crossbow. They'd disassemble it, inspect the structure, and then give me a tongue-lashing for modifying it to look like a rifle. Yep, I know my weapon gives people the wrong idea, but I don't care. The Inquisition eventually gave up and just asked that I don't go scaring people with it. Heheh.

Doctor, Rhodes Island doesn't have any restrictions on their operators making friends, right? ...No, um, I just wanted to make friends with those Laterano folks. I've always loved Laterano's guns ever since I was little, so I tried to emulate one when I made this gun.
